Not sure if this is the angle you need, but it's all I have for now.

Re: Front sway bar pictures

My c10 69 do not has sway bar so I saw here in the forum that you can use one of the newest trucks then I have one of the 73-87 version but I dont have the brackets that hold the bushings and sway bar at the chassis. Do you know where can I find it?
this morning I saw two differrent sets but they´re sold complete and I only need the brackets

Yeah... Early Classic has the brackets for lowered vehicles so that you don't hit a curb with your sway bar. That's the one I went with.
I got my sway bar off of the parts forum on here. I think it was the one for a 1-ton, 1 1/4 inch or some such...

Re: Front sway bar pictures

Heres mine, came off a 73 up1 ton that started life as a camper and ended up as a flatbed wrecker. Its enormously thick and weighs a ton as I had to carry it for nearly a mile back to my car when I picked it up from a guy at a big car show. The original brackets were pretty bashed about and had been repaired so I went with a set of the lowered brackets and poly bushes from ECE. Took me a couple of hours to fit and most of that was taken up by grinding and chiseling the rivets off the frame. I even gave it a coat of red paint!

Re: Front sway bar pictures

I picked up a bar and hardware from the junkyard from a 73-87 3/4 ton truck. Ordered new sway bar mounting brackets from (I honestly don't remember, but they were factory height units), bought new bushings and installed. I had to remove 2 rivets for the crossmember and replace with bolts. Super easy mod/install and made a world of difference!

Re: Front sway bar pictures

Surprise! Taking the front suspension out of my 68 projo and found it has a sway bar already! cool...

I don't remember the previous trucks having one..? This being a 250 L6, I didn't expect it? But, I wasn't bagging those either...

??? So, any nuances to bolting this back up to my LCA's after the bags are added up front, and the disc upgrades are done?

BTW - the front right drum had LOTS of parts collected at the bottom of the drum as I pulled it off yesterday! Glad to be making the upgrade to cupped lca's, discs, drop spindles, and a couple BAGGY'S
