Need help knowing what I have I know sounds dumb

I bought a 72 that is rough but I like it the thuck is already lowered I got the bed off I can see they just heated up the coils in back to drop it the front is also lowered but I dont see where they heated them up so how do I know if the spindles are stock or drop so I can order coils please help

Do the spindles look like they're 37 years old? I'd be surprised to learn that someone would spend the money and energy to change out the spindles and then just take a torch to the back springs - those are so easy and cheap to change...

Crawl down and look at your spindles. If the spindle comes out of the carrier at the bottom edge, it's stock. If the spindle comes out in the middle, you got a drop spindle.

If they heated the back springs, they probably didn't spend the money on drop spindles.

They probably just cut a coil off the front springs to lower it.

Thanks It does not have drop spindles they did cut the front sprngs as well thanks again
