Timely tire/wheel question
OK, remember I'm a newbie to these trucks. I found a listing on craigslist for stock aluminum wheels (6 lug) 15x8 in "A1 condition" with tires 31 10.5 that "hold air but have some weather checking" off of a 1980 truck. I can't picture this exact size, so first question is will this be to big of a setup for my 67 k10 with stock suspension? If it would fit, how would it look? Lastly, what would you offer for them?

Re: Timely tire/wheel question
really need more info...
what kind of rims? what kind of tires? 31's will fit great.. I have 33x10.5x15 on mine in these photos.. I do have a rear add-a-leaf in the bottom pic though.. 33x12.5x15 really need a bit of a lift to fit without rubbing If they are chevy rally rims i'd say $100..(that's what I sold a set for) cracked tires are asking for trouble though..

Re: Timely tire/wheel question
Thanks for the info, those pics help a lot. Nice truck by the way. Sorry I didn't have more info, but that's all I had received at that point. Latest info from seller says they are the exact wheels you would see on a 90 Suburban with factory alloys. Guess I'll pass on them now, since I'm leaning more toward rallys.

Re: Timely tire/wheel question
thanks, i've been lazy on my build though..
i'd pass... those old alloys look similar to what you see on my truck but very dull... any older 6 lug rim will fit your truck. 15x8 is a good size or 15x7 will work. rally's can be found for $100 or less then add some new rubber (I found mine on ebay for $150 total and paid $280 for the mickey thompson rims) post some pics of your truck though.. not many around.
