Re: 65 lwb project
The pins in the door limiters can be a pain. They need to be driven out from below. Spraying them with some Kroil or PB will help some.
Sounds like you have some cool plans for your truck. Keep us posted on your progress. Quote:

Re: 65 lwb project
I would suggest checking with a couple of the vendors here on the board. Both mbgmike and Tri-ProAutomotive sell some of the better patch panels and they have good customer service.

Re: 65 lwb project
Welcome to the forums from Kansas City, KS and thanks for sharing your project and plans for it.
In the future, you tap the door check pin at the "A" pillar out from the bottom with a nail set and a hammer. It is tight, but with the front fender removed, it is the best way I have found. My hands are almost to big, I mean fat, to do it this way, but it works great. Good luck with your project and keep us posted with lots of pix. PS - My first vehicle was a 1965 Chevy C10. I bought it for $500.00, in 1981. I am now 44. Last edited by LILRED66; 10-10-2009 at 05:25 AM. |
