My First Build '65
I bought the truck for 1500 bucks. It ran but the tranny slipped so i took all the front clip off and pulled both the motor and tranny. I'm having the motor bored .60 over and gonna build it hopefully somewhere around the 400hp mark. I got a 700r4 tranny waiting to go in. The fenders were rusted but we patched them other than that the front clip and cab are lookin pretty good. The bed sucks and finding a new one is not easy around here. So I haven't decided what to do there yet. Im going to get a Mar-k full tailgate cover and weld the back smooth, shave the door handles and finish it off with a green and silver two tone broken up with either blue viynl or dark purple.

Welcome to the board
Looks like a nice truck for the price. What engine are you building for it?

Welcome! That is a great price for that truck! Where in SC are you? I used to live in Sumter.
