I am sure there have been a ton of tire threads.....
But I need some and don't know exactly what I want yet. While it would have a certain cool factor to go with some old school white steelies and bias pizza cutters, it ain't practical or cheap. Right now the 2 biggest factors are traction and cheap. I currently have some 31x10.5-15 BFG ATs that came on the truck, but they are at the 3/4 worn point and have some dry rot between the treads and a nice ring cracked around the sidewall.....time for them to go.
I want some thing a bit more aggressive, but not Ground Hawgs() or swampers.....I like the looks of the Pep Boys Definity MT made by Cooper. The buy 3 get one free deal doesn't hurt, but I hear stories of weak sidewalls. Below are some tires I am finding specials for online, if you have had any of them feel free to post experiences and opinions. Tires that fit my price range: Some chinese thing.... http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.p...r=OFF&dsco=135 The aforementioned PepBoys MT Runs about 130/tire before mount balance and rebate. From Just Tires http://www1.justtires.com/catalog/pr...eSizeId%3D4310 Just a few link to some I have found. Any other sources/ideas? |
