What Tranny Model Is It?

Just as the title says. In this pic, what model it the top tranny(the long one)?

im gonna say its a 200r4 or powerglide maybe . pics of the pan. it might be ford or chrysler

Definitley looks likes a buick or pontiac tranny. You can tell by the dip on the top of the bellhousing as compared to the point on a chevrolet tranny. As to what model can"t tell without a pic of the pan.

yup on the bop.

its a car tranny because on the long tail housing. a truck tail would only be about 4-6".

it can be a th400 or a th375, a th400 with a 27spl out put shaft, not the 32spl.

i have the chevy version [chevy bolt pattern th400] sitting in the garage looking for a home.

right right, could also be cadillac they did that dip thing two, but it is not a th400 or th350 for sure

why not a 400?

it has the same six bolt rear pattern

cad, bop, jeep/chrys all used the th400.....
