Fuel filter
Haveing recently had a problem - - - I 'm told there is a fuel filter somewhere along the frame. I cannot find one on my sub. I think I've been running without a fuel filter. Does anyone know where this filter normally is located.

Re: Fuel filter
There shouldn't be one, and it's not a great idea to put one there either.
If your tank is clean, then the filter in the carb should be fine. If your tank is dirty, then you should consider dropping it and letting a radiator shop clean it up. If you have an aftermarket carb with no filter in the inlet, then an inline filter between the carb and the pump is the best place for the filter. |
