Power Boosters
I am thinking about buying a new power booster for my truck, but don't really want to pay 250 dollars. I would like a new one, but not if it costs that much. I looked at http://www.carparts.com/parts/compon...link=0-0-0-0-0 and it has a reman for $107. Would that work? Are there any differences between the years for boosters?
One other question I have is, what lenth is the rod that you change when you switch to power brakes. I seem to remember someone saying that you have to change a rod, and I just wanted to make sure I had the right size in there. Thanks for the help. Low68

Just bought a reman PB Booster for $89 from our local AutoZone...it comes with the rod installed and the rod has a small adjustment "tip" on the rod that matched up (lengthwise) with the old booster rod........

Thanks for the thought. I just stopped at the local abc auto store and they had one for 50 something that has a lifetime warranty. I told them I would get it.
