14 bolt rear disk ?
I know that you can get brackets to make a 14 bolt full floater so it has disk brakes. The calipers can be from a 73+ Dana 44 3/4 ton (you lose e-brakes).
Dana 44's and Corperate 10's have some interchange (outer axle outward?). Could I use 3/4 ton Corperate 10 rotors and calipers to do this swap?

Re: 14 bolt rear disk ?
Never heard of anybody doing this (10 bolt rotors and calipers).. I hear the way to get your ebrake is by using a mid 70's
Cadillac El Dorado caliper. Last edited by Eturnit3; 10-19-2009 at 11:21 PM. |

Re: 14 bolt rear disk ?
the rotors are the same from 69-91 d44 or 10b
the calipers may have different banjos and piston sizes but they are still the same basic unit from 69-91. you can even use a 2wd caliper from 71-87 but you will need to use 2wd hoses. |

Re: 14 bolt rear disk ?
yes just make sure the hoses match up and if you want an e brake it is the rear calipers from a 75 Cadillac Eldorado that you will need
