My72's First trip on a Flatbed towtruck!(TH400 breather location pics needed)

Does anyone have pictures of a TH400 transmission off I am looking for pictures of the location of the breather. Mine must be plugged 2nd time I loose all my Tranny Fluid. First time I was down the street from home this time I didn't make it to the mechanic to get my timing set.... Also what is a good way to Unplug it ?Never ending progress I just want to drive it and have fun already......... Thanks again guys

Look at the metal tube over the cooler line ports, kinda bent downward... thats the vent. Stick a thin wire through it

Thanks Longhorn Man I see what you are talking about But my tranny doesn't have that tube Do I need it? Or can I just Stick a thin wire through the hole clean it out and be ok with that?

Sometimes if the vent tube is plugged the dipstick will pop out and vent through the tube. If it did not vent through the dip stick check the modulator or pump seal also.

Thanks, but it can not be driven without a tranny .. I have to work this weekend picked up some OT so I hope to get my problem solved by mid next week, Tranny fluid + Lucus sure isn't cheap I am dieing to give those tires a real bad Smoken.......................
