back-up lights
My back-up lights have not worked since I got the truck. What should I check for? I know it is not the ground because the wire leading to the housing is not even getting power, I already checked it. I didn't have much time, so I need to know what to look for before I start taking stuff apart. It is a 4-spd manual. Thanks
John

On the 4 speed tranny there should be a green wire coming off of a plug on it. This goes to the wiring harness and runs the length of the truck back to the backup lights. Might be the wire is not plugged in or some thing like that. Take a look and see if you can find the plug on the tranny. Should be near the top around the edge of the shift plate. Good luck, Jeff.
