Leftovers
If my '67 stepside project works out like I hope it will I'm going have the following leftovers: a pretty clean & straight '67 rolling short bed frame--- runs/drives pretty good. A pretty rusty '71 cab and short fleetside bed ...both solid but rust in front roof corners and cowl area quite a bit of rust and bondo in the bed. The doors and hinges aren't bad. I'll also have the '71 radiator support and a good 3 core radiator or two. I think I can bum useable font sheetmetal.
I don't have much money in any of this.... so how 'bout if I cut the top off, plaster up the holes and make roadster rat rod. Primer/sealer on the outside and bedliner coating on the inside. Chances of me finding a 2wd. Blazer are pretty slim and I'd like to have a topless toy to play with evenings and on cool days. Anybody have experience cutting the top off of a '67-'72 body? thanks in advance for ideas and advice.
