Re: Really Short Bed!!!!!

or they just chopped frame out. they are obviusely handy with a welder and bthe requierd body work to chop one of these beds so i dont think a few whacks at the frame are going to pose a problem to them.

Re: Really Short Bed!!!!!

I wonder how much lighter that truck is with "less frame and bed" weight to slow it down? With very little weight over the butt, I wonder if it's hard to get it to hook up on a launch?

I'm not so sure weight would be an issue as much as weight transfer. If it has real stiff suspension it won't hook for crap, a nice softish suspension it would transfer weight back and MAYBE hook a little better. Just my $.02 though. And wow I wouldn't pay half the asking price.

Re: Really Short Bed!!!!!

Whether you like the look or not is personal choice, but you have to admit it is very well done. If it doesn't have a nut, bolt or screw, I can't do it. Body work is beyond me, so when I see something custom like this, I have to say "well done"... Of course, I also say "I'm not interested"...

Hey, at least he didn't hack up a Longhorn into a short bed...
