am fm question
i found a am fm radio out of a buick today, the dial inside rolls up and down like the ones that come in 67-72 trucks. my question is has any one ever put one in one of our trucks. they look like they could be easilly modified to fit. the nice thing about them is they are 4 channel. i would almost bet the face off one of our am fm radios would bolt right on.

Re: am fm question
Measure the rectangular cutout in your dash and see if it fits the faceplate of your radio. Measure the center of the holes for the volume and tuning knobs on your dash and compare the distance to the one on your radio. If everything matches up, you got it. One other thing. The size of the case of the radio. If it's pretty big and you have an AC truck you may not be able to get it to fit behind the dash. There will be a fuse on the fuse block for the radio. Just hook the (Usually) red wire from the radio to that for power. I sure hope you won't be cutting up your dash to make the radio fit as you will probably regret it later. Hope this helps.
