Noobie needs a repair manual

I have a 72 SWB that I just got, like to know which repair manual to purchase. I have no previous experience with GM products or trucks, but have enough experience with other brands to know that being informed is better. I have a sticky window regulator that I was going to tackle today, I figured it would be nice to know what is going on inside without prying and guessing...
peace

Re: Noobie needs a repair manual

Haynes or Chiltons is good for the basics, but to really get into it, get a Chassis Service Manual for your year truck. They're available from the Board vendors.

Re: Noobie needs a repair manual

factory service manuals are available from most vendors, check the vendors list. they are well worth the investment and give you specifics for the truck not general one size fits all type of info
