Hey,

Was wondering if i could see some pictures of people with body lifts, 2-3 inchs. Does it look goofy? can you see the frame rails alot like the 89-98 trucks? will i need to lengthen my steering or ebrake cables?

It's just my opinion, but yes on all questions. You don't see a lot of people that take the time to put in a body lift correctly. I think a suspension lift is easier to do, but that's just my opinion.

here is my old 73 with a 2" body lift and 285's, I hated beaing able to see the gap between the frame and body, and the rear bumper hung really low. Suspension lifts are cheap for these trucks, I would go with a 2-3" suspension lift personally

Here's my blazer with a 3 inch body lift. I'm taking it out as soon as I get all the stock length bolts...

I have a 3" body lift on my cc.Dont like the fact that the fuel tanks hang down were you can see them.

Ok, well i have a 4 inch lift on my jimmy,leafs no blocks, i just want to get a little 2 more inch's for looks and so it will look better iwth a bigger tire. Instead of getting new leafs up front and a block in back.

If done RIGHT, it can look good. I have put alot of thought into body lifting mine and here's my plan when I get the time. After installing the lift, move the gas tanks up to where they are still hidden by the body or install a suburban tank behind the rear axle and relocate the fuel door.
