Re: Trying to find a chrome shop

With the costs associated to chrome plating these days I doubt that you will ever find "a chrome shop this is low in price but that does good work "

You might locate one that does good work at a fair price, but don't expect it to be cheap. EPA regulations have made it a VERY expensive industry to be in.

Re: Trying to find a chrome shop

Any chrome shop worth its salt will not be cheap.

I've not personally had anything chromed but have seen the process and become expensive depending on what type of metal and process has be preped before the final product is achieved.

Look on the Powerblock.tv shows thru some of their directory for a chrome shop that might give you a better idea of what to expect.

Re: Trying to find a chrome shop

i live here in nashville, tn and seen work from both advancedplating and chromemasters they both do excellent work. i know advanced has been around since i was a kid, back then my father had alot of his custom harley stuff done by them. not cheap at all though, just excellent craftsmanship!
