Suburban A-pillar

Has anyone tried running speaker wires up the driver's side a-pillar with the other wires already there? How hard was it? The asm. manual makes it seem like they are 1/2" dia holes, so I think their would be room.... but I could be pretty darn wrong too. Any help?

There is an item called "fish tape" which installers use to get wire through walls. I don't know the answer specifically but I'll bet 2 things. 1 It's a real bear. 2 Longhornman probably knows.

I'll say this much, I tried running the single wire through that hole on my longhorn for the marker/ID lights...
I gave up after a good hr or two of fighting and cussing.

The PO of my burb had a radio antenna ran up the passenger side and over to the center of the roof (I left it there) and some other wires ran up the driver side...so its possible. I can't remember if the rear A/C wiring runs up the driver side or if it comes up the rear driver quarter...I think up the A pillar.....?

The wire for my dome light goes up through the driver's A Pillar.

So are there already holes on the pass side?

This sounds like its going to be a total PITA

I've done it, and it wasn't as hard as everyone says for me.
What I did was take apart the rear harness plug, tape it all up with a fish wire and pull it through.
Then attach your additional wires to the rear wire harness tape bundle, and pull it all back through the hole.
Re-assemble the rear harness plug, making sure you put it back together exactly as it was before you took it apart.

I ran a wire up through there for a map light in my Panel. It took a few tries, but it wasn't to difficult.

I ran wires in both my A-pillars. Had to drill on the PS (way up under the dash and not visible).

I have done it on the driver side. I used a piece of 14-16ga steel wire, dropped it down from the top, grabbed it when it passed the hole in the kickpanel, pulled it through, taped my wires to it and carefully pulled it back up.

Was not bad at all.

I hate to admit it, but it's from a '89 F*rd F-250 (ducking tomatoes).
