numbers not matching
did chevrolet stamp any vin numbers on the body anywhere. I need to find 2 or 3 vin #'s for my truck to leagally road worthy again. I've got one number on the door and the rest are for another truck I need another vin on the cab somewhere but not in the glove box,Thats gone. The truck is a 1970 c10 v8 X-3 on the tree/now auto. I need this for the highway patrol to inspect my truck.

door frame and glovebox are it, no more places, frame vin is found on dirver side top side of frame rail out in open near engine mount, scrape there and also under cab floor on top side of frame rail on both frame rails, the VIn on frames are only the last 8 digits, if they match the last of the door jamb vin then you have a numbers matching frame to cab

Your profile is blank, where are you at, what is this non highway? Almost every state says that if it is not on public roads, id don't need a title.
