The pickup is being sold as a project and I would rather not part it out. I hate to sell it but my other vehicle/toy was t-boned so now I'm focusing on that one. Right now the truck has a 307 that I bought at a salvage yard just to move it around. I've replaced the original intake with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and it also has a pair of old, cheap headers with new Thrush turbo mufflers. For a transmission it has a THM375 which, if I'm not mistaken, is a "light-duty" 400. THE GOOD: Professionally built 12 bolt rear end (posi with billet cap and Tom's Differentials KA Axles...I was planning on dropping a 500 caddy engine in the truck) New adjustable track bar Cleaned and powder coated trailing arms with new bushings Fairly new lowered coil springs (I think they're 2in lowered springs) New brake lines New aftermarket wiring harness New AutoMeter gauges New and balanced drive shaft Good tires THE BAD: Needs a new radiator (or the current one repaired) Needs a new carburetor (runs kinda rough with the one it has right now) The transmission works but is leaking (it seems like it's just the pan gasket) Damage to the bed behind the driver's side door and on the passenger's side by the tailgate THE UGLY: The floor boards are rusted through on the driver's side and the passenger's side (I started patching up the passenger's side but it still needs work) Rust on the doors at the bottom corners The wood bed needs to be completely redone (the metal strips are all there but need to be reconditioned) If you're looking for a truck to restore then this is NOT a good candidate for that, but this would be perfect for a rat rod, hot rod, custom or something to cut up and play around with. I'm asking $1250 but feel free to make me an offer.
