Re: porterbuilt bodydrop?
na man, he is advertising on his site a bolt on body drop for the 67-72 c-10 trucks. i think it is done by the cab mounts. i was wondering what other mods are needed to complete the process

Re: porterbuilt bodydrop?
I don't think he has it available yet. When his products are ready for the market he usually posts it here. Since he hasn't given us a sneak peak, I am going to speculate that it's not done yet.
As always, the best way to get a correct answer is call, email or PM Nate himself.

Re: porterbuilt bodydrop?
There's more to the 'kit' than just the cab mounts.

Re: porterbuilt bodydrop?
Just wait for Nate to bring it to us. Do you still unwrap your Christmas presents before the 25th?
Now you guys always give Nate Sh1t about the "2 week thing" but what you fail to realize is he never states when those two weeks start. I assume it is about two weeks before we see the parts here on the board Kevin LFD Inc. Last edited by Rokcrln; 11-30-2009 at 12:33 AM. |

Re: porterbuilt bodydrop?
I am curious about the bed and waiting to see the kit... The cross sills sit on the frame mounts and there is not room for a drop without cutting... Does it come with new cross sills??? Inquiring minds want to know..

I don't want to give out all the details, as it isn't finished yet.... but here's what to look forward to: It will bolt-on, and drop the truck's sheetmetal .75" making the frame-rails and the pinch weld the same height. It will also take care of the bed mounting, core support mounting, and bumper mounting.

Re: porterbuilt bodydrop?
I know mine will not go any lower. unless I put some big Ole donk wheels on it and thats not happing. I could dig a hole under it for it to lay the rest of the way. I,m thinking about some 32 - 9.50s tires lol
