need help with non-tilt auto column
please help im tearing my hair out i reinstalled this auto column into my truck but when i put in the turn signal housing i got it to line up with the gear indicator but it keeps moving around on me. is it supposed to lock in place? i know theres tabs that the housing has to go under and turn but wont stop moving the turn signal help guys thanks!
also this shaft up by the steering wheel must be a different size because the 3/4 nut from my old tilt column doesnt fit when i put the steering wheel on. |

I believe the three mounting screws will lock the housing in place. Are they tight?
The tilt column has a larger different nut then the standard column. Jim

yea i checked the screws are tight but it still turns is it supposed to lock in some how?

I'm having the same issue. There seems to be enough gap between the wheel and the housing that nothing stays tight. I actually have to somewhat hold the housing when I use my turn signals. I changed the steer column and reused the housing and parts from my old housing, being that the housing on the replacement was junk.
Anyone have ideas on how to get a tight fit??
