Front Fender ?
I have a dumb question - New to board
When is a OEM front fender to far gone that it's not worth repairing? Mine have both bottoms damaged front bottom and rear bottom, I'm not sure if I should repair or just replace. Thanks |

Re: Front Fender ?
if you weld and do body work, then only you can answer the question.
If you are paying someone to cut and weld, then let the labor rate + parts answer your question. |

Re: Front Fender ?
Longhorn gave some good advice, and I guess it also depends on what you use the truck for. If you're after show quality paint, I'd say let the pro's do it with quality parts. If it's just a fun daily driver, have a go at it yourself. I made my own patch panels from a 4x8 sheet of 18ga sheetmetal for a friends Chevelle years ago. I taught myself by reading as much as I could and it actually didn't turn out too bad. It was also my first paint job, Black at that.
