That woody deserves to remain unmolested in a museum. It is a nice piece, all there so evidently the prior owners did not include a surfer.
Looks like a pretty good deal on the 67.

I`d kill for that woody! But,I don`t have the ammo money.
was Campbell the only company?I wonder when Cantrell started supplying them? Appears to be a crazy good deal on that`67.

That Chevy is museum bait, I'd say. At least it ought to be. & left as-is.
My uncle who's in his 90's has an original unrestored, not repainted (still shiney-burgundy), 1941 Packard 160 woody. Cool rig, & about as long as a bus. A for-real "station wagon." I can remeber riding in it as a little kid in the 1950's. He has had it since 1943, when the guy who owned it new got busted for running moonshine in it from Missouri over across into Kansas. I'll see if I can find a photo of it somewhere & post it up. Supposedly one of five built in KC MO by the Hercules body company onto the Packard chassis & it's "really rare" as they always say. Not for sale, and no, I'm not in line to inherit it. Darn it. Last edited by 68shortstep; 12-07-2009 at 08:21 PM. |
