NP203 won't go into hi-loc
I did the hubs and conversion, and now that it's snowed half a foot I can hardly get down the road in two wheel drive. I have the hubs locked, it'll go into Hi, Lo-loc, Lo and Nuetral, but it will not go into Hi-loc.
I've heard that often the linkage gets "frozen" could that be the case? and what's the cure to such an ailment?

Yes, most of the time the shifter is the problem. It is usually as simple as disassemble, clean-up, grease, re-assemble.
While doing this, you will notice that there are "alignment" holes in the levers. IIRC, this in the neutral position, so adjust your linkage if necessary. BTW, it is generally easier to do all of this from the top. Pull back the floor mat and remove the tunnel...easy access, far better than laying on your back eating dirt and rust.

The tunnel as in where the shifter sits, just the 6 or 8 screws that hold in the rubber piece and metal outline?

No, no...the tunnel is the entire "hump" area of the floor. It has several bolts that hold it in place along each side and a few across the back near the seat. It gives you lots of space. You wouldn't get too far through the shifter hole.

pulling the seat will make it easier though.
you may have to drop your tanks to get at the seat nuts on the underside of the cab though.

Those nuts should be welded in the floor pans, unless your floors are rusty or the welds are broken then you might have to.
