This new panel is to repair a common problem area on the ‘67-’72 model trucks. This does the rear corner of the floor inside the cab corner and has the vertical flange in the back where the floor attaches the the back of the cab. This is an entirely new HIGH QUALITY panel.

I'm glad to see new high quality repair parts being made. Is this panel available for both sides or just the left side?

oh great, that's all I needed for my cab and now you get it!!! well, not really.. I did need that entire floor replaced!

I was looking at that as well for use in a Jimmy/Blazer - the floor where it meets the 'step up' for the floor - might be usable...since this area is a pain to rebuild at times...I included a couple of pictures of where I am talking about on the floor area on a Blazer/Jimmy.

You would need to fill that hole for the seat belt - drill a new hole for the floor belt bolt [on the driver side] and also put the piece in a 'break' to bend up the lip on it to rest against the step up...not sure if that would be more/less work than making the piece yourself.

I just did both sides of my Blazer so I don't have anything else to test it on...

PM sent - I can test fit it to see how it fits - this is how mine looks...I haven't welded the inner rocker yet and that piece is welded to it...

It will be mostly cut down to that step area - so if you have one that is damaged or bent that one would work - that way you don't ship a good one to me.

I think the angles will be OK and it may help with the area you're showing....but I only see a couple inches of it that may useable

Once I get the panel and get it mocked up - I will check it for fitment in that area. I will post up my results in this thread when I am done [with pix, etc.].

Well done Tri-Pro, and thank you for making another part available. Should be able to cut that patch down and use in a blazer/jimmy, but as you said not much will be left.

that complex little area might save a lot of work...I'm anxious to see how helpful it is

Glad to help - it actually was pretty easy to do - especially since I had just 'attempted' to create my own patch panel for this exact location. This made it a lot easier for me and if more of my floor was rotted away - it would be very helpful.
