hello from Ok via South Korea!

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Tim. I'm in the Army, currently in South Korea. I have a 78 K20 that I have been working on for a while. This site has helped so much. I will be posting a build thread as soon as I return to the states.

Re: hello from Ok via South Korea!

Welcome!
Where you stationed there?
I transfered from Ft. Sill to 1st Sqdn, 9th Cav. DMZ police. Spent 1964 north of Freedom Bridge across the Imjim near Panmunjom. I'll bet things has sure changed since then. Stay safe and don't od on Kimche and Podo juice.
Thanks for your service and being there so we sleep better here.
Merry Christmas

Re: hello from Ok via South Korea!

I also spent a year in Korea in 1963. U.S Army. Man, they have some really cold winters there. That was a long time ago also. Welcome from Western Kentucky.

Re: hello from Ok via South Korea!

I'm stationed at Camp Casey, which is the farthest north we go. Its in the dongducheon (sp?) area I believe. Yes, there is some very, very cold days here!! But, back in Lawton, Fort Sill, they got hit with a bunch of snow, so I'm not missing out on much
