Post Another dumbass sighting

He tries to remove the pump from his tranny without removing the tcc solenoid first and can't figure out why it won't come out. LOL If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. Thanks to Randy, Duallie, Heavy Chevy and Efabman for trying to help the dumbass see the light. Looks like the 2-4 band is in bad shape. Some material is gone from one of the pads on it. What does this band do? Is this the reason my 2nd gear is gone? Thanks again, Jeff.

im pretty sure the band goes between the shell/drum and the case, when it grabs the drum it keeps it from spinning, terminology may be wrong, but thats hte basic idea, someone else wil know more,
