Raising wheel tubs??
Hey guys my 86 is getting painted right now the bed is in primer before it gets sprayed i want to know if i should raise the rear wheel tubs i am planning on running 20x10 in the back its layed out in the rear i do not have the wheels yet so i cant just double check but i dont want to have to be messing with the bed after its been painted so those of you layed out running 20x10 not sure on tire size im thinking like 275 35 20 did you guys have to raise or tub the bed??

Define "laid out"? is your bed cut to clear the axle? How low is it?

It has a back half and lays frame the bed is cut to clear the notch!

haha thats true so how much should i go 2" or more?
here is pictures of the frame the rearend, 4 link other parts are getting painted body color which will be cyber grey metallic with added extra pearl to the mix and make it a 3 stage

I would remove the tubs and mock it up. It's going to be hard for anyone to give you a accurate answer considering everything is custom built.
