350 2bbl?
Just wondering, did all 350 engines in 1/2-1 ton 69-72 trucks come with 4bbl carbs? I have never seen one with a stock 2bbl. My resto-pack only shows a 4bbl on the 350 (in '72 anyway). I see lots of trucks for sale with that supposedly have orginal 350 2bbl engines. Were they special ordered, or just someone trying to pass a 307 as a 350?

As far as I know, 4bbl was the only carb offered in a 350 truck. These motors also all had 4 bolt mains. The 350 car motors were available in a 2 or 4 bbl.

when did they have a steel crank as well. Ive seen heavy 3/4 tons with manual transmissions that you'd think would have been steel crank equipped come with cast cranks. I know I had to search hi and low for one when I built my motor.

I looked at Hollanders and the first 2bbl 350 in a truck I could find was 1974. The only 2bbl small blocks I could find for 67-72 was the 283 and 307's (no 350's).

327 had the 2bbl also. 350 were usually fitted with the 4bbl. Not all 350's had 4 bolt mains, lots were 2 bolt, even the 100 casting high nickel came in both 2 and 4 bolt set up.
