1970 Chevy C70 What is different?

I looked around but could not find my answer so I thought I would ask. I found a 1970 Chevy C70 truck cab and doors for sale about 1 1/2 hour drive away from me. Before I go look at it I am wanting to know is the cab different than a C10 thru C30? Are the door different? I do not want a C70 but if there is enough usable parts it could still be worth it. I found a picture in the photo shop area and it looks different but I thought it might be because the front end is different. Thanks for your time and information. Todd

Re: 1970 Chevy C70 What is different?

yes the cab is different
yes the doors are different
if it has a smallblock that is the same except the heads
if it has the 292 that would work
if it has a bigblock it is different
There are not many parts that directly change over

I would say nothing is the same on a 70 series. At least on the 40-60 series there is some parts the would interchange. Not sheetmetal, but some interior parts.

Re: 1970 Chevy C70 What is different?

Thanks for the information. Does not look like anything I need. If anybody could use the parts let me know and I can get you contact information. The cab and doors are located somewhere on the north end of Indianapolis, Indiana. Thanks again, Todd
