From 73 to present GMC truck frames use leaf springs, from 60 to 72 they will have trailing arms and coil springs. What year, make and model are you working on?

Not all 60-72 GMC's have trailing arms and coils.
It has been discussed at length many times, sometimes heated, here over the years and the consensus was: 60-72 chevy - coils were standard - leafs were optional 60-72 gmc - leafs were standard - coils were optional |
