have questions need help

i have two questions
i am building a 67 swb,stepside tuuck i'am doing all the work myself . frame off replace and upgrade everthing installed 454 with turbo 400 trans i have my cab off and someone told me that my short hump floor would not clear the trans i have cannot reinstall to ck fit right now, has anyone ran into this?
also bushings for core support in poly will not fit into holes in frame do i need to grind them larger. and if so do i need any clearnce between byshing od and frame id.thanks for help.

The floor should clear the TH 400 with no problem. TH 400's came in cabs with the low hump floor. We have a 69 and a 72 with the low hump with TH 400. High humps were mainly in the 4x4's
although we have a 70 with a TH 400 and the high hump.
