Re: how different is a 72 bed from a 72?
Since you cant find bed liners for 67-72's anymore.....I have always (15+ years) used square body liners with NO fitment problems at all!!! under rail, above rail, long bed or short bed. They are not a perfect match for the floor butthey look correct once they are in. I have a long and a short at this very moment. Square body ones are just about as obsolete now though.

Spray in liner was my choice.

I think the one in mine is for a 73-87, I couldn't find the numbers on it for the snow but here are a couple pics of how it fits.

Have you thought of a sprayed bed liner. I had one done on one of my trucks and when I sold it 10 years later, looked almost as good. Remember you get what you pay for

the floor is the same 67-87. the sides and tailgatesare interchangeable. ask a body shop. i have a under rail plastic bedliner in my 72 longbed that belongs in a 73longbed. next time you go to a car show take a tape measure along and checkit out. old money.
