There's a celebrity among us!!!
The other night my wife brought me a copy of the latest issue of Classic Trucks. As I was flipping through it before dinner I noticed a familiar looking truck on page 88's Classic Cruisers section. My congratulations to Mark Brazelton on getting his 60 GMC in the magazine. The only thing cooler than the truck making the magazine is the fact that he mentioned that his wife bought it for a birthday present. (Mark - you've got good woman!)

Re: There's a celebrity among us!!!
I figured it would be best to leave the pictures up to the owner of the truck. In the mean time, you can go to the magazine's website and see the current issue.

Re: There's a celebrity among us!!!
Thanks guys for the attention and comments. It's been fun getting responses from so many people all over the country and internationally. I was really surprised when the February issue came out in December and my truck was included. I had just submitted photos for consideration in October. Knowing how production lead times work, I assumed even if they selected my truck for the column, it would be months before it might ever show up in print.
I realize how fortunate I am having a great wife, after getting rid of one that wasn’t. She’s been my best friend for 25 years, and is very supportive of my hobbies. She jumped in and broke plenty of nails starting with the V8 swap and every phase since. I’m color blind so I count on her to double check all wiring projects. She even painted the entire chassis with POR-15 while I was attending to the body work. Nothing makes life and hobbies happier than a compatible partner. I’ll be keeping this one for the duration! |
