Where to get Inner Fenders?

Is there a good place to order reproduction inner fenders? I was thinking Truck and Car Shop out of Orange, CA because they are closer and may not kill me on shipping. I'm just concerned about them lining up without modifcations, or would it be better to try and find some rust free used ones?

Your best bet and cheap as well:

http://www.certifit.com/

Closest one to you is in San Diego...

I found a set about 2 hours west of me that were purchased by somebody and never installed for a good deal ($40 for both).

I put them on my Dad's truck and they bolted right in - no problems at all.

They run $42 a piece there.

Thanks for the information, I did call and they are cheap but do not ship. Items are pick-up at location only, which is a deal breaker since they are about 8 hours away.

Re: Where to get Inner Fenders?

It's a bit of a drive for you, but I've gotten my sheet metal parts from Matt's Classic Bowties in Concord, between Hwy 680 & Hwy 24.

Now, here's the kicker, or it was for me, if you're not in a hurry & can wait for them to place a "stocking order", which is every 2-3 weeks, you can go to their shop[ & pick up your parts without any shipping charges.

Because I crashed my truck I had to get both front fenders. Then while trying to install them, I saw damage from a previous accident & had to get a new core support & inner fenders. That's 2 orders for sheet metal parts.
By waiting I saved myself somewhere in the neighborhood of $350-400 just in shipping charges alone.

I hopped that helped you a wee bit.

Re: Where to get Inner Fenders?

I replaced one inner fender on my Blazer. I am in the jax fl area. I ordered it from Obsolete Chevy, in Valdosta Ga, about 120 miles away. The fender was $100, and the shipping the same $100. Ask how much before you pull the trigger. Shipping almost gave me the big one!

Thanks for the information, I found them on the web and called about the price $94.00 each and can be picked up with no shipping charges when placed on their stocking order. I did not realize there was a place this close to home, it would be worth the 30-45 minute drive to save a $100.00 each for shipping. So unless I find something even better I will go this route. Great find, they are now added to my list of vendors.

Re: Where to get Inner Fenders?

You could always have a member in that area pick up a set [from certifit] and then work out the shipping with them - if the price to buy them is cheaper - it might work out.

That could be an option, but I think due to the size of the inner fenders the cost for shipping would be more than the extra price of the product to buy them locally. Thanks for the help!

The drive is a bit longer than that, but if you go there; you may as well swing by here (Antioch) & get a free lunch, or something.

Oh yeah, my original post should have said between Hwy 680 & Hwy 242 (near Water World), not Hwy 24.

I went ahead and called them today and I'm going to order with them on their next stocking order. According to their map and who I spoke with on the phone they are located close to the 580 to 680 interchange, so it should not be too far maybe an hour with no bay area traffic? Thanks for the offer it's much appreciated.

Unless they've moved recently, they''re not even close to that interchange.
When I got my stuff they were on Franquette (sp?) in Concord.
