Fuel Line Question
OK, I'm out of my element a little bit, since I tend to hang out on the 67-72 Blazers board, but I know there's someone here who can answer a question for me.
I have a 2001 Express 3500 passenger van with the 5.7 fuel injected engine. One of the fuel lines has sprung a leak right where it crosses over the transmission. It looks like it's been rubbing on the transmission's wiring harness. What's the best way to fix it? Can I just cut it and clamp in a new piece of fuel line? |

Re: Fuel Line Question
Im guessing its the return line (5/16")? splice in some rudder hose, Fuel injection hose is mandatory on the pressure side (3/8") & a good idea on the return side.

Re: Fuel Line Question
Thanks. That's what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure.
