c10 spindles on c20
i have a 1984 c20 that i want to convert to either a 5 or 6 lug...how would i go about doing this? can i just buy c10 spindles and mount the c10 brake setup?

The c10 parts won't work on your c20 spindles.
But ECE, (www.earlyclassic.com) sells a "conversion spindle" that will allow the C10 parts to bolt on while retaining your stock c20 ball joints and tie rod ends. Give Stan at ECE a call and tell him you heard about it here on this message board. |

I think a complete rearend swap would be your best bet.
I think you should be able to find one for around $100. Just remember you need to be a subscribing member to post WTB ads here. Good luck with your project,... and post up some pics when you get time. |

In the long run, might be worth the subscription as for pics...i'll be getting some soon... going to be a long project. Low income + bills = long project

If you want 6 lug, on the front you can use early 90's light duty 3/4 ton spindles, rotors, and calipers, but you will have to change ball joints also.
