Re: Blazer tailgate
i haven't converted the whole assembly as there is wiring that would need to be pulled. but have swapped the internals from a power to a manual so i ended up with power window. if memory serves correctly you may have to modify the manual for the saftey switch mount but that was it. i swapped all the internals with no problem.

Re: Blazer tailgate
i don't have pics of the swap but i can take pics of a spare if i still have it hidden in the shed. you will need the entire regulator assembly with the motor, the switch that replaces the manual window crank on the tailgate, the safety switch that disables the roll up if the tailgate is open and the wiring to the fuseblock and dashswitch. If i missed something that someone else noticed please correct me.

Re: Blazer tailgate
Wow, Too bad you are so far away! I can't find anything but power window tailgates around here. I think shipping from MN would cost way too much to make it worth while.

Re: Blazer tailgate
I have only found one manual tailgate around here and they guy wanted $ 100 for it. Seems like the going price for electric ones as well

Re: Blazer tailgate
Sound about right. I picked up a new repop for $25 last fall. It has a small dent where the band goes. Then I stuffed it in the back of my saturn and had an air cleaner fall off the package tray onto it on the way home. Opps.
