Hood swap?
Might have found a really nice hood, but it is off a big truck. The guy says it is from a Series 85 model. I'm not sure what that is though. It will fit a C10 won't it?

Re: Hood swap?
The hoods that are not interchangeable between the light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks in the '60-'66 Chevy trucks are the LCF (low cab forward), HM, JM, L, T (Tilt) and some of the more obscure, heavy-duty models. I am not sure what the Series 85 model is, but it may fit. If the dimension from the front tip of the hood to the rear of the cab is 105" with the hood installed and closed on the truck, it should fit. Good luck...I hope it works out for you.

Re: Hood swap?
I haven't heard of a "Series 85 model" either. The Chevy medium duty trucks were 40,50,60 and 80 series. As long as it isn't a LCF model, it should work (they had shorter hoods). Take a tape measure with you, and as long as it reasonably close in length to yours, it will work.
