Time for a pic



I got some parts (bumber, rocker, side mirrors) in today so i decided to take some pics befor i go to the paint shop maybe this weekend

i think i am going smooth so i guess i will sell my molding and the factory mirrors and steering wheel if anyone needs them.


i will take better pics soon

Nice progress!

Hey , since you're going Big Block, do you plan to keep that serpentine accessory drive system on the small block. I might be interested if you wanna get rid of it.

rockers I bought from lmc along with the bumpers and new pedal set.

mirrors are sold . but upper trim, hd duty "ugly" bumper, and steering wheel are still for sale.

1 belt sytem will probably be off in a month so you have 2 dibs 68stepbed

hi know ive been away but my wife and i had our 1st born so you know how that is. well over spring break i took out my engine found out it was a 4 bolt main ( woo hoo)



took it to Steve at Progressive to have the blocked machined . 1 day turn around time



worked till about 3 am the first night then sprayed it down to be painted
the next day got it painted


then the heads procomp alum

third day it was in the truck

sorry about quality but took it on my phone cause was too busy to get out the nikkon. engine started up right away broken the .470 lift howards cam at about 3000 rpm for 45 mins. i think i have an intake gasket leak - )vaccum) so i orderd the felpro that the heads recommend and will be fixing that this weekend.

had some spray paint and was bored so i guess over the weekend i will try to do a faux patina paint . the truck will be painted soon so i really didnt care. lol


close up on the area i started to sand and and fade in


pic of the rims i think i want baby blue but all i had was red



but i drove the car on the highway today. i love my 200 tranny!!!!!
put a 180 degree stat and a free flexalite fan to see how it held up and the truck never went past 200 degrees. i have a dual maxima fan that i might put on if need be.
hooked up passing gear with wire so i need to get the little ball thing that hooks it up to the carb.

might go to towers next weekend if big al is going lol

next "want" is a 2/4 drop
next "need" maybe discs but hopefully the power booster can hold me over
