Re: Time for a pic
Living in Miami, don't you have to have some sort of hood lock as well as the steering wheel lock down?

Re: Time for a pic
Nice progress!
Hey , since you're going Big Block, do you plan to keep that serpentine accessory drive system on the small block. I might be interested if you wanna get rid of it.

Re: Time for a pic
Thanks guys im trying
rockers I bought from lmc along with the bumpers and new pedal set. mirrors are sold . but upper trim, hd duty "ugly" bumper, and steering wheel are still for sale. 1 belt sytem will probably be off in a month so you have 2 dibs 68stepbed

Re: Time for a pic
sorry about quality but took it on my phone cause was too busy to get out the nikkon. engine started up right away broken the .470 lift howards cam at about 3000 rpm for 45 mins. i think i have an intake gasket leak - )vaccum) so i orderd the felpro that the heads recommend and will be fixing that this weekend.

Re: Time for a pic
had some spray paint and was bored so i guess over the weekend i will try to do a faux patina paint . the truck will be painted soon so i really didnt care. lol
close up on the area i started to sand and and fade in pic of the rims i think i want baby blue but all i had was red but i drove the car on the highway today. i love my 200 tranny!!!!! put a 180 degree stat and a free flexalite fan to see how it held up and the truck never went past 200 degrees. i have a dual maxima fan that i might put on if need be. hooked up passing gear with wire so i need to get the little ball thing that hooks it up to the carb. might go to towers next weekend if big al is going lol
