Are you serious!!!!??????? No wonder I haven't had much luck selling my truck for $12k! One thing's a good deal, another thing is looking for a handout! My truck is no where near that caliber of truck but pretty damn clean and 100% rust free with a hot engine plus completely restored from the ground up. It seems like most good ole boys into these trucks have a spending cap around $5000 no matter how nice a truck it is.

Sold for $68,200 including the 10% buyer's premium which, IMHO, is close to what it should sell for. Good news for those of us putting big dollars into a high quality build .

Us purists just had a heart attack..... To each his own.... I could not imagine doing that to one of our trucks. I bet the owner had $68,200+++++ into that ride though. Sharpie

I understand it's not a 100% stock resto but the mods (other than the fender vent) are all subtle and fit the look of the truck... imho .

I'd like to see anyone build this for less than 50K...

....NOT INCLUDING LABOR...

I like it, there are things I would change, but there are things on every vehicle I would change including vehicles I did in the past...

I liked copperhead too, but without the engine and notoriety, that would only be a 25-30K truck....there are nicer trucks than copperhead built by people on this board honestly...including some 100% restos and survivor resto's I'd rather have...

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck

I luv it

Restomods are the hot sellers right now. It's the best of both worlds to me... keep the traditional shape of the truck and customize the safety/engineering/interior. Let's face it, there's nothing really iconic about the interior of our trucks (I think the outside is though). I like the dash/steering wheel, nice job on the dash pad to match.

I too think he had more than $70,000 in it.

Yep, the outside is great, + a manual trans!

The interior breaks it for me, but I guess I'd drive it.

That truck my friends is total bad ass and it definetly cost a lot more to build than the 68k it sold for.

I agree. The seller also has to pay a commision fee of 8%. I believe the only one who made a profit here was Barrett Jackson.
