who has shipped a vehicle across the country?

I need the names of some people to use to ship my truck, if someone far off buys it. Anyone have any good experiences that they want to share.

Re: who has shipped a vehicle across the country?

We have shipped a fair share. I will see what I can dig up from our files. Have not done it in a while. Just for advice if using a multi car hauler and its nice ask to keep it on the top so other cars don't drip on it. Really bad if a convertible. If its really valuable I would use an enclosed.
I have used U-Ship where they bid on shipping and have had real good luck with them

The guys we used I don't think are in business any more.

One other note is make sure its goes all the way with the same truck and not sit in a lot somewhere.
We used a company in Iowa and I will try and find it for you. great service

Re: who has shipped a vehicle across the country?

One of my customers shipped a car from Ca to Fl. If you google car transport companies, and request a quote, I bet you will have 10 before you can blink your eye. They will ask if you want an enclosed or open trailer, Most haulers like to deliver to a business, or large public parking lot. The street rod shipped from CA, was delivered to the KMart parking lot. The other car my customer shipped, he tried to ship to a home address, and it just became a pain, and was dropped at the same parking lot

I can't say enough good things about board member Fine69 (Mike). I called him new years eve, and my truck was in my driveway before noon on Jan. 2.

I can vouch for Mike's character (aka Fine69) as well. I know he loves doing these kind of trips too...
