one of the bolts that tightend the transpan to the tranny strip before?
how did u fix it? |

Aluminum housing, no problem. Go to parts store and check out a helicoil kit. Fix it right up.

on my doors when they stripped out i welded it shut.. drilled a pilot hole then used a bigger bit and redrilled it and threaded it.. u can try same way with the housing just switch to a spool gun aluminum welder..

easy fix, take a small carter key and unfold it put the unfolded part in the striped out hole and start the bolt in there and your done till you have to change it again .
not the best fix but it works , i worked part time at a trans shop back in the late 70s and thats how they fixed them |
