Paint frame before or after components installed?
Should the A-arms, trailing arms, springs, etc. be painted before installing or after everything is together. If you paint all parts before installing what to do about the fasteners? However, it doesn't seem like a good idea to put unpainted surfaces together and then paint.
I have the frame and components sandblasted and plan to use POR-15. |

Paint everything first, then assemble. Just take your time to avoid scratching anything.

You can go back over and paint them once assembled.

Re: Paint frame before or after components installed?
what we do on our tractor stuff (go ahead and laugh now) is take a piece of cardboard, punch holes in it, put all your bolts on that and paint them at the same time you paint your components
