Big block in a 4X4
I know that when a big-block goes into a 4X4, that the firewall needs 'massaged'. Has anyone tried moving the engine/transmission forward to where it would bolt in a 2 wheel drive application, and then redoing the driveshafts to compensate?

your exactly right, on my truck it was done when i bought it, but i can see the engine x-member has been welded in a different place. no firewall beating or body lift crap...
