spring noise

i have a 69 short step and i lowered the fron by cutting the spring.
and now i have a noise in the driver front like the spring is rubing something.
but i have look several time and dont see anything touching has any body had a problem like this?

Never had that problem. Look for a shiny spot where the spring might be making contact.

How much did you cut off?

one coil i did and where it was shiny i rubed grease but the sound didnt change. its more like a ring than a squeak
