newest acquisition

I got a message from shiny the other day if I still had some of my ambulance parts around as he wants to build a crewcab. I told him no as they went to texas(ambulance parts) but that I knew where this crewcab was sitting. I have been trying to get it for 12 or 13 years but the old fart would never give me a price. you know thw old story-how much will you give me for it. I don't play that game so I said $100.00 and he choked and we have talked about it over the years and I have seen it deteriorate .he died last year so I called yesterday and now it is mine. hope that he wants it
it is covered by blackberries . the frt end is still there . no motor or trans but the t/c is still there
64-66 3/4t 4 x 4 crewcab

Re: newest acquisition

I'm so stoked on this thing! Can't wait to dig into it! Ron and I are gonna maschetti it out tomorrow! We'll get some more pics of it. And see exactly what we have
I'll do a full build thread on here of course. And get pics of the dig out and loading it on the trailer too..

It was Rons b-day yesterday, he got a crewcab for a present but only kept it momentarily
Happy b-day Ron!

Sometimes this is the best part of the build.

Nice acquisition not only looks like it's a roller but 4WD to boot.

it is too bad that it sat all this time as the inner fenders are gone at the frt and the grille and rad support are gone. they were all good the first time that I saw it
the main body is not that bad , needs typical floors corner and rockers

Very cool rig a 4x4 with an escape hatch
Hey, you ought to wait till the summer to go get it, that way you can take some of them blackberries with you.

looks like someone started to work on it at some point. does it have both seats with it?

keep us posted and thanks for the pictures.
