seat compatability
hey guys. does anyone know for sure if a bench seat from a 67-72 chevy will bolt directly into a 83 chevy? i've found a nice reupholstered seat on CL for a good price. any help is appreciated. thanks.

you can prolly attach the tracks from a 73-87 and it should work.. i dont have a seat handy to measure but the cabs were about the same size the seat tracks are different that i do know

no it does not, and i would no recommend that seat, the brackets are a little too high for that truck, u will have to cut them down to sit right and look right.
I recommend the ford taurs seats |

All you have to do i switch brackets theres four bolts per side on 67-72. As for the 83 seat theres three bolts per side, you might have to drill a hole for the front bolt. I did the same thing, found a nicer seat and swapped brackets.
